Project Main Details

Thomas Haney Secondary Promotion Educational Video
We are currently creating a video representing a very unique style of learning at a local secondary school. The script explains all about how THSS works and educates.

We have a reference voice over from another video that we are looking to get closely emulated. See link below. This is not a corporate video, and we dont want the voice over to sound stuffy. It should be inspiring, confident, and engaging. The purpose of the video is targeting other educators to think in a new, unique and improved way with today's generation of children. A new way of learning, preparing kids for today's world, and encouraging young entrepreneurs.

The world today.
It is fast.
It is complex.
It is constantly changing.

Careers and opportunities exist today that did not exist ten years ago. Even one year ago.

For young adults to thrive in the 21st Century, they need to think critically and communicate effectively.

They need to be able to collaborate, innovate and problem solve.
They need to be adaptable, flexible.

The question is: How can High Schools conceived in the past, designed for the past, prepare them for today’s world? For the future?

It is time to re-imagine “high school” ...
… a school where learning is personalized, where students are invited to follow their passions ...

… a school not bound by rigid timetables and uniform age groupings...

… a school with an innovative and open architecture that invites learning beyond the class room...

… a school where learning resources are accessible on-line and available 24/7...

… a school where students have a voice in determining where, what, how, and when they learn ...
