I have a script the reads kind of like a bed time story. Think of the Grinch movie or something like that.

This is a story.

About a boy and his cats.

Of wanting better for his own cats.

And, along the way, wanting better for cats everywhere.

No one wants to see cats scratching their precious furniture.

Not nearly as precious as cats mind you, but still,

when you buy a new couch you want to keep it looking nice.

So out went the boy, looking for a scratcher his cats Marco and Barnabas (hereafter referred to as “The Two Dudes”) could use.

The search led nowhere. The proverbial dead end.

You see, the boy was looking for an eco-friendly scratcher.

But none were to be found.

There were scratchers made in China.

There were scratchers printed with toxic inks.

There were scratchers wrapped in plastic.

And there were scratchers with little recycled content.

The boy decided the Two Dudes deserved a better scratcher.

And he realized heÂ’d have to make it himself.

So, then began the quest for the WorldÂ’s Greenest Cat Scratcher.

It wasnÂ’t easy.

The boy looked high and low.

He was met with questions like “Why do you want 100% recycled cardboard” and “But that’s going to cost more”

It looked grim, but the boy soldiered on.

Eventually, the boy stumbled upon someone who shared his vision.

They put their heads together and designed a scratcher even Mother Earth would be proud of.

It was locally made. Constructed from 100% recycled cardboard. And was printed with safe, non-toxic, water-based inks.

So now the Two Dudes could safely scratch to their hearts content.

And the boy could watch the Two Dudes scratch with a clear conscience and a cleaner planet.

But in order for the Two Dudes—and cats everywhere—to scratch the eco-friendly way, we need your help.

Please support “The WorldÂ’s Greenest Cat Scratcher” today and help make it a reality.
