This is a Ball Animated Short Film
This is a animated short film about a bouncing ball. The narrator needs to carry the story as it is written as a poem. I am looking for a narrator who can draw the audience in and let the story arc and unfold with suspense much like the narrator in a nature documentary. The characters in this film have a few short lines of dialogue but I am not looking for cartoony character voices. I would rather have the narrator read these lines as if it was a children's audio book. Thank you.

This is a ball: it’s made from a circle and computerized light.
It just sits here, quiet and polite.

When suddenly, by anticipating a movement,
it becomes human in search of self improvement.

It rolls itself to the top of this very high ledge
And the ball sits, balanced along the knife's edge.

The Squares mock him and they announce
“Look, this ball is afraid to jump and to bounce?”

Our poor little ball is filled with great sorrow.
To him, this ledge looks as tall as Mount Kilimanjaro.

He’s bullied by the Squares who call him, “Mentally Ill!”
A triangle shouts, “Why don’t you go dribble yourself back downhill”

The ball has to choose to be brave and to jump.
These Squares, these jerks, they are the chumps.

He boings, completely fearful.
But, each moment in the air he becomes more cheerful.

He bounces and arcs until he rolls to a stop.
Oh, so very nauseous; but, will he pop?  [Vomit SFX] ...I guess so.

The Squares laugh at him and they tease.
But, the little ball shouts back, “Oh, would you please?”

“I’d like to see you bounce, you square.
That’s right.  You can’t.  You are going nowhere.”

“But, I am a ball.  And, I faced my fear.
I have a whole world in front of me, a brand new frontier.”

“So, go sit on your ledge. Look down on me if you want.
But, I can move forward.  It is you that can not.”

This is a ball.  Made from a circle and computerized light.
And, because of animation, it is more than some simple kilobytes.
