Named well, she can beat any of her siblings in a race and is definitely more athletic than all of them. Being last in the litter makes her feel she has something to prove, but she doesn't get involved in any of the sibling rivalries. After all, last born is last born and she really doesn't care.

WINDIE has caught up with FIRBERAN and approaches.
FIRBERAN: Leave me alone, Windie.
WINDIE: We're all tired and hungry, Firberan. They didn't mean what they said.
FIRBERAN: Yes they did. (Sighs) Maybe they're right. (To Windie) Do you think I'm like that? That I only think about myself? Don't listen to anyone else?
WINDIE: You always want to do what's best for all of us.
FIRBERAN: Joshua and Claira don't think so.
WINDIE: (Small laugh) You three have always been like this. If Joshua wasn't trying to be the leader, Claira would be there nipping at your tail. And then you'd turn around and do the same thing right back at them.
FIRBERAN: How come you've never tried to take the lead?
WINDIE: (Beat) Who, me? (Small smile) I'm the last born and the smallest. I know my place.
