Project Main Details
We're telling the story that any family caregiver can relate to. Our audience is primarily adults who are taking care of their aging parents. Most family caregivers feel that they are just helping out a loved one and they don't consider the toll it takes on their own mental and physical well-being. This often leads to caregivers feeling completely overwhelmed because they don't seek help soon enough. We want to help them realize that care giving is demanding work and they should look for help proactively.
This should sound more like a PSA or inspiring narrative than a commercial or promo piece. It should sound like you've been there and you're telling your own story to help a friend understand that they are not alone and there is help/hope.

There are four types of people in the world.
- Those who have been caregivers.
- Those who are currently caregivers.
- Those who will be caregivers.
- and those who will need caregivers.
No matter who you are, caregiving has, is or will become a part of your life.
Tone: Informative, compassionate
You don't always see it coming. It can start with a diagnosis, an accident, or sometimes [short pause] it's just a part of getting older.
No matter how it starts, you become a caregiver when you begin putting someone else's needs ahead of your own.
You spend more time calling to check-in, and visiting to help out around the house. You’re running errands during your spare time, even taking time off work for trips to the doctors office, because it feels good knowing you’re there to help. But with time the decisions become tougher with more pressure to make the right ones.
It can be overwhelming, the unexpected is to be expected. You feel unprepared and you don’t know if you're doing things right.
Tone: Understanding, compassionate
You're spending more time as the caregiver.
And less time as the daughter, son, husband, wife, or friend you want to be.
*Tone: Hopeful, curious
What would you do with your time if you had less to worry about?
With fewer distractions, what could you discover?
We believe that every caregiver has a unique story. One made up of the moment in-between trips to doctors appointments.
*Tone: Empowering, sincere
