Taking Steven Horsford’s own advice, let’s take a look at his past:

As a senator, senate Majority Leader and even as a member of a public board, Steven Horsford uses his political position to direct taxpayer dollars straight back into his own pockets"

Here’s how he did it:

Through 2006 alone, The Southern Nevada Workforce Investment Board, which Steven happened to serve on until 2004, had directed more than $10.4 million of taxpayer dollars to the non-profit, Nevada Partners.

Who is the former President of Nevada Partners? You guessed it: Steven Horsford And it is Nevada partners that regularly exchanges resources with Steven’s trust project at the Culinary Training Academy…

The very same academy where in 2008 Steven was paid a $156,000 salary to work 19 hours per week.

So it is not surprising when The Southern Nevada Workforce Investment Board legal counsel called Steven Horsford's actions on the board "inappropriate".

Steven’s efforts did not stop there. In 2003 and 2010, Steven was a strong proponent of local tax increases on rental cars – taxes that would go directly toward funding the Culinary Training Academy. Yes, that very same academy where Steven continues to earn over $150,000 per year.

Do you want Steven Horsford to go to Washington and send more of your tax-payer dollars to fund his own special interest projects.

It’s time to change the game-plan.
