The protagonist is a Chinese artist named Xu. (pronounced "zshoo") What Xu saw was hundreds of migrant laborers. Working in incredibly dangerous conditions. Surrounded by trash. And waste. And pollution.
And as he explored it more, it got worse. The workers were sleeping on pallets inside the unfinished building.
They weren't just working there. They were living there. Because they weren't paid enough to live anywhere else.
But then… Xu got an idea.
What if all this debris could be put to use? What if these workers could work in a better way?
