Project Main Details

The GLOBE Program Clouds
This is a fully animated video ... it introduces the audience to a learning activity they can do on our website. The activity is looking at and measuring the amount of clouds in the sky.

The narrator needs to have FUN with this ... the audience is teachers who teach K-12 ... so you need to be upbeat and fun but not a cartoon voice!

The animation is being done by A-level animators ... so the quality will be high ... what I am looking for is someone who can take the words and make them come to life.

Clouds; most of us only notice them when we’re daydreaming or when it’s raining. But the truth is, clouds are almost everywhere we look.
And, clouds tell us a lot about our environment. By using The ********************* you can show your students how to interpret the clouds they see into meaningful scientific observations.
Clouds act like a thermostat for the Earth… shielding the surface from the sun to keep it cool and insulating it to keep it warm.
In the *************** students will observe how much of the sky is covered by clouds and contrails and note the types they see.
For the Protocol, all you need to do is go outside at your school and look up!
Once outside, students should record the percentage of the sky that is covered by clouds and contrails¬¬ on the data sheet provided.
Your students can then upload their data to the ******database and compare it with data from schools around the world!
Teachers, before they can do this, you will need to become ***** trained – and this could not be easier.
All you have to do is click the e-learning button after this video is over and walk through the steps. It’s that simple!
With ****** you do more than talk about science … you go outside and DO SCIENCE!
