Project Main Details
A female, fairly young, soft, but clear and confident sounding voice artist who has a North American accent with no discernable local accents. Due to the nature of the project we require the speakers voice to be very consistent, able to repeat a word/sentence a number of times with minimal variation.
Text To Speech Software
The recording will be used as a corpus of data from which our software will digitally select, alter and paste together excerpts when transforming textual data into audio.
Our software can be used in systems such as automated telephone calls and our customer base ranges from banks to companies in the telecommunication sector. Currently we operate primarily in and around China.
We are currently looking for a voice talent to represent the voice of the 8th version of out product.
Script
The script will initially be around 45000 words long, split into around 3000 sentences. However we hope that we will be able to add to the data in future should any updates be necessary, hence the requirement that the speaker be consistent.
Recording
We're based in China, so recording in our studio is probably out of the question. Furthermore, organising a private studio somewhere outside China would probably be quite complicated for us so it would be best if the voice talent had her own means of making the recording, which would then be sent, preferably by FTP.
