Life Gets Mucky 30 and 60 second versions
Client: Turtle Wax Car Care Products
We are about to deliver two new versions of an existing video that we have produced for our client.
The existing version is used as a brand video on the website and the story is told using captions and may be found here: https://youtu.be/o-gWjSw29QY
The new versions will be used online for both Trueview on YouTube and on facebook and may be used elsewhere online.
The premise of the film is that it is good to go out and enjoy life using your car to help this – when you’ve finished though, you’ll want to get it back to its best again and Turtle Wax can help with this.
To provide the voiceover for the new versions of the video – essentially a version around 60 seconds long and one less than 30 seconds.
The final scripts are being approved and the 30 may simply be a cut down of the 60 second version.
We are looking for a style of delivery that is;
Conversational rather than authoritative
We want to appeal equally to male and female audiences and as such either a male or female voice will be considered.
We do not want a strong regional accent however we are looking for delivery to be more conversational and definitely not ‘BBC’, so regional inflections will be considered if the delivery is right.
There are relatively few words in the script and a few will be reinforced on screen (not as current version where the whole story is told through captions).
We want people to be able to enjoy the richness of the story, the imagery and your voice.
Whilst this is not a guide to style, the following clip provides some insight into what we are looking for in terms of storytelling, warmth, narrative and almost ‘poetic’ delivery…
A note about music:
The music used on the existing video will be used on the voiced version.
