Now, let's look at the history of the bulldozer starting with the birth of the tractor.
In the early 1900's the steam powered track type tractor was developed for agricultural use in the United States.
In 1924 a bulldozer-which was a tractor with work equipment attached to the front was produced. It was a 10-ton machine developed by the Holt Manufacturing Company which is the predecessor of Caterpillar. Then, in 1931, the first diesel engine was installed in the bulldozer.

Ground pressure is important to determine if the bulldozer can travel on soft ground.
For this type of application you need wider shoes , a longer track frame or both for the dozer to be effective. It is very important that you learn about ground pressure and how it affects the dozer. Audition script:
