Project Main Details

Technical Training Presentations
Technical and Sales Training Presentations, that are SCORM conversions from PowerPoint (Articulate), are needed now, and on an on-going basis. Each Slide/Frame within a Presentation requires a separate and sequentially named *.wav file. The text for each Slide/Frame is fully scripted. Due to terminology used; conversational familiarity with the automotive, motorcycle, trucking, agricultural, construction and/or off-highway industry may be required to produce accurate inflections and emphasis without direction.

The four major Emissions covered by the Federal Clean Air Acts are: Hydrocarbons or HC Emissions, Carbon Monoxide or CO Emissions, Oxides of Nitrogen or NOx Emissions and Soot which is technically called Particulate Matter or abbreviated as PM Emissions. The chart shown here is an illustration of Particulate Matter, or PM on the vertical axis and Oxides of Nitrogen Emissions called NOx, along the horizontal axis in a measured value of Grams per Kilowatt Hour. For the purposes of this course, the actual numbers are not as important as the relative changes that have taken place over the past, and will be coming into effect over the next few years. This chart shows the major changes to the allowable emissions limits in the 75 to 174 horsepower ranges of Off Highway Engines. Notice how the 2012 calendar year changes impact the Particulate Matter and Oxides of Nitrogen emissions limits. The 2012 limits are shown in light blue in the lower left hand corner of this chart. To meet the Interim Tier Four standards, which came into effect on January 1, 2012; a small but significant reduction in Oxides of Nitrogen was needed. Of major significance was the 92% reduction in the allowable Particulate Matter emissions. To meet the Interim Tier Four standards for the 75 to 174 horsepower ranges the Diesel Particulate Filter System has been adopted for our K278HDMX machines. The use of a Diesel Particulate Filter System is not the only option for meeting current emissions standards. For example: Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) systems; which require the use of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), have been employed for use on some On and Off highway Engines. At this time it is felt that the simplicity of the Diesel Particulate Filter system best meets the needs of the marketplace.
