Project Main Details

Tech Science
'Tech Science' is an animated series that digests the basics of products we use in our everyday lives, from sending a text message to keeping your lemonade cool, and gives you a behind the scenes look at your favorite technology.

We are looking for a youthful-sounding male Voice Over artist to read a series of scripts -anywhere between 4-8 scripts- that are 2-3 minutes in length.
The tone is fun, upbeat, and educational.

We will be paying $50-100 per script (including alt reads).
All media and All rights in perpetuity up front.

Please provide a custom demo based off the script provided and details above.

LCD displays are a constant part of our lives today. They are found in TVs, smartphones, tablets, even wristwatches. It is hard to imagine how we lived without them. But have you ever stopped and wondered how they work?

Let’s say you are using a tablet. The LCD part is what makes the words and images that you see. But in order to see the liquid crystals, an LCD screen needs a light source.

This backlight used to be provided by cold cathode fluorescent lamps, which were larger and less effective.

Now we use LEDs, which allow for thinner, lighter, and brighter screens.

But recently, some brainy engineers created the Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode, or AMOLED. This technology allows for even lighter, more energy efficient screen with vibrant colors and sharper contrast.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
