The first was about reliability. Too often it seemed that every machine in the building was setup differently. Some computers had some software, others had different software. It was frustrating when I clicked on an icon and it didn’t work. I couldn’t reliably access my work, my software or share work with students and I didn’t want to email files back and forth with all my students.
