Project Main Details

Tampa Bay Videos 4
We are producing short (1 min or less) videos on famous Tampa Bay personalities. I need a narrator for two stories. The tone should be a little different for these since they are quite different characters.

Charlie Wall (1888-1855) - born into a wealthy family, he became king of the illegal bolita lotteries. Later he participated in crime hearings and was murdered.

Herman Glogowski became Tampa's first Jewish mayor in 1886 and served 4 non-consecutive terms.

Script Details

Sample scripts:

Charlie Wall: Charlie Wall, born in 1888 to a prominent Tampa family, seemed destined for a distinguished career. Instead he used his mathematical genius to gain control of an illegal gambling game called bolita. In the bolita lotteries, a set of wooden balls, numbered one through one hundred, was placed into a bag. Bets were placed on which ball would be selected. Results were often rigged.

Herman Glogowski: Glogowski served on the Tampa Board of Trade in the mid-1880s and offered incentives to build cigar manufacturing factories that provided jobs for hundreds of Cubans, Spaniards, and Italians. This helped him win the favor of voters when he ran for mayor in 1886. He was Tampa’s first Jewish mayor and would serve four non-consecutive terms.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
