Tabasco Chipotle Peppers RE CAST
Hi everyone. I apologize for the re-cast for anyone who auditioned the first time around. The Tabasco client is looking for a YOUNG sounding man with depth to his voice. The direction they provided is..."a voice that brings about a feeling of trust, and he should have a young but very manly, deep character to his voice."

The last audition we requested a "soft southern accent'...disregard that this time around. The deep character and manly thing is more important this time around.

Also, for those unfamiliar with how to pronounce "Chipotle"'s pronounced (Chip-oat-lay). Please be careful to pronounce correctly. (there were a lot of people that mispronounced it so I figured I'd help, sorry)

Thank you all for auditioning and good luck!

Chipotle…the word comes from the Aztecs…meaning smoked chili, but the use of these peppers….as food, trade, religion and medicine goes back nine thousand years in this part of the world.

These Jalapeño peppers start green, but the hot sun slowly bakes them red…and then they are picked, by hand, by people for whom their family, the land and the pepper have been intertwined for generations.

Then the peppers head for the Chipotlera, Spanish for Smokehouse. Slowly the combination of the gentle smoke and time go to work …and after three or four days…. turns jalapeños to chipotles.

The smoked peppers then journey north… to Avery Island, where they are combined with a secret blend of natural spices, vinegar and water.

And finally…it is TABASCO….TABASCO Chipotle Pepper Sauce.

Ready to be shared with the world and provide a rich smoky flavor far from the fields of Delicias, Mexico and Avery Island, Louisiana.

Thatʼs where… your pepper sauce is from.
