Project Main Details
It's an open source technology project called *****.
This 2.5 minute video needs a series of small voice-overs that need to be put on top of the video.

Hello from ******
We're very happy to introduce the beta release of a very exciting
new technology unique to ******
This technology is called Greyhole and it implements Storage
Pooling and Replication on top of Samba shares, and it's
integrated seamlessly in ******
Greyhole can use Just a Bunch of Disks, or JBOD.
These disks make a virtual storage pool.
We can then make shares which draw storage from this pool of disks.
The shares are then used by any client in the network, just like regular shares!
Now let's say we have a share called Photos and we have set it up to
use the pool and to have files with three extra copies of each.
When we add a file to it, this file then goes on to be
replicated, with three extra copies placed within the storage pool.
This is very cool because it can help protect valuable data
against hardware failures.
Let's see how we set it up!
In the shares area of the ******server we can see a new menu
called Storage Pool.
In this case there are seven drives in the pool already and we're
adding a new drive to the pool.
Let's go to the shares area to add one share to the pool.
We create a new share called "Stuff"
Now we enable the share to use the storage pool.
By default it does not allocate any extra copies.
We can have up to 7 extra copies, which is the maximum number
that our current drive pool allows.
Let's see other examples.
For videos, we only care about having one extra copy.
For recorded TV, we don't care about having extra copies.
For our family photos, we always want to have the maximum number
of copies our hardware allows.
If hardware fails, this will give us some level of protection!
Here are more details on the implementation.
We hope you like this new technology we are introducing in ******
