VO: Hi! My name is Baxter - faithful companion, licker of children’s faces, and keeper of the traditions and stories of all the legendary hospitality and countless turkey dinners, since our first guests arrived here at Weatherton Palace in 1901. As a St. Bernard, I take my pedigree as a search-and-rescue dog very seriously, and I love my job as Weatherton’s official greeter. It makes me howl with delight!
This glass-roofed room is called the Tropical Garden. I like it because when it’s cold outside, I get to lie inside in the warm sun on a soft rug. And with all these tropical plants, it’s kind of like taking a nap in the jungle!
Have you ever read the “The Secret Garden?” It’s the story of a girl who goes to live with her relatives in a big manor house in England and discovers… well, a secret in the garden. Want to know the secret of this garden? Take a closer look at the floor, and see if you can find the trap door that goes down into the basement!
