Project Main Details
It's mostly talking-heads and verite footage, with about 1.5 minutes of narration.
We are looking for an "understated toast" vibe -- or when a president tells a story at the state-of-the-union address about someone in the audience -- the president tries so hard to stick to the facts, but the awe and pride is still apparent.
* Matter of fact.
* Pride for a loved one.
* Giving an understated toast at a wedding.
* Describing the simple acts that Rosa Parks did, but knowing that those simple acts changed the world.
* Simple acts added up, into something amazing.
* You don't have to dress it up too much in saying it, because the facts are pretty incredible.
*) Slightly faster than your normal talking voice. No dramatic pauses.
Since this is an internal video, the audience will already be aware of the successful initiative, so we don't need to over-play the drama or salesmenship of this video and its narration.
The pay is a flat-rate $400, which would cover 3 or 4 rounds of recording of the 1.5 minute narration.
Types of VO/Narration we are NOT Looking For:
*) movie trailer

It was a day to encourage people to support the small businesses that keep their communities running.
What began as an concept created by a core group of ********************* employees soon became a movement that stretched nationwide.
To reach people in communities from New York to New Orleans to San Francisco,
we spread the word online, using popular websites, social networks like twitter,
and we created a Facebook page as the central hub of activity.
