We are about to launch a suicide prevention organization next month called “Silent Promise”. We are hitting web, radio, and soon TV commercials with our awareness program. For this first project we currently have a 15 seconds radio spot and a 30 seconds television spot, local coverage.

Our organization is a non-profit and it will be targeting young adults ages 14-26. Our Organization focuses in on the slogan, “You are Not Alone”. Suicide is the 3rd leading cause for teen death today. With those numbers growing every minute. Every 18 minutes someone takes his or her life. We focus on the silent promise between friends. Though any suicide prevention program is great as long as they get help, we target the bond of friendship by giving out cards that a friend writes down their name and phone number making a Silent Promise that they will always be there for them, and if the person in need cant ask for help, the Silent Promise Buddy will ask for them.

I am looking for someone who can target young adults by their voice. I am not looking for sad or depressing, I am looking for someone who is like a mentor or a parent. I hope that makes sense. I want teens to relate to the person talking to them.

We are a non-profit so our budget is REALLY small. So when you send us your voice-audition please write to us how much you would charge to do something like this.
