LTK91021256603X
A series of historical narratives for 2-3 minute history videos for educational purposes. Narratives are in English. Looking for mix of professional female and male voices. Please provide rates (hourly/project rates). Due to the number of videos we are producing, there is concerns for budget. Looking for project rates and fair hourly estimates. Some preference to skills/pronunciation knowledge in other languages as to ease any problems in pronunciation that might occur due to just trying to read a pronunciation guide. Scripts are in English, but with instances of pronunication for other languages (a phrase, a name). We provide a suggested pronunication key for those items.

In about 1730, the Hyksos (hĭk'sôs), migrants from the east, rose up and overthrew the Egyptian dynasty. Establishing their own rule in the Delta, they adopted Egyptian styles of civilization and tried to rule as traditional pharaohs.

While the Hyksos ruled the northernmost parts of the Nile Valley, the middle portion of the valley remained under the rule of a Theban (th b n) prince and Upper Egypt became an independent kingdom ruled by Nubian (n b - n) princes.

By the 1500s B.C., the Thebans had mastered Hyksos war technology and tactics and launched a ten-year war of liberation. Eventually, the Theban Prince Ahmose (ah-mohs) drove the Hyksos out of Egypt once and for all. He became the first ruler of the 18th dynasty forming the New Kingdom and expanding Egyptian borders.
