Project Main Details

Short Film Trailer Narration
I am producing a short film entitled "Chicks Dig Happy Endings." Its a comedy about four screen writers that are arguing about the "happy ending" versus the "sad ending." During the course of their discussion, the viewer gets to see "films" they have produced in the past...first the happy version and then the polar opposite sad version. I'm looking for a booming deep voice either British/Australian OR American that can pull of the dramatic movie trailer voice for the trailer to this short film. This short film and its trailer will be posted online on Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook, and we will be submitting it to film festivals. Not likely any broadcast exposure for this project.

Script Details

***All of narrator's lines are delivered using a booming overly dramatic movie trailer-esque voice EXCEPT WHERE NOTED.

Coming the world wide web and any film festival with low enough standards to screen it...

Narrator delivers next line starting at regular pace and then speeds up as dialogue continues because he realizes he has to fit a lot of unnecessary information into a short piece of time.

Two short films within one short film and then two subsequent alternate versions of said short film within the first over arcing short film....kinda like Inception but not nearly as awesome.

Narrator returns to normal deep movie trailer voice.

A battle of wills in the creative war that is the "happy ending" vs the "sad ending."

Starring...Clayton York....Mallory Sauer (pronounced Sour)...Matt Carter....Nathan Badley....and Austin Pruett (pronounced Proo-it).

From the team that brought you the "Bad Computer Music Video"...

Narrator delivers next line swiftly as if it's a side thought.

...which no one really understood except for a few cracked out lunatics...

Narrator returns to booming movie trailer voice for next line.

...comes a short film that challenges the very soul of the art of story... CHICKS. DIG. HAPPY. ENDINGS.
