Project Main Details

Short Dramatic Read for eLearning

We are producing a short 5-minute (850 word) training piece on the history of private investigation.

Our existing pool of talent is accustomed to providing formal, technical reads. However, the client is interested in something more dramatic.

The material reads almost like a textbook or documentary, but they'd like to hear someone who can pull it off with a dramatic tone -- more of a "storyteller" performance that is enthusiastic, young, cool, fun, hip.

This is the first of many training pieces, so we prefer to work with a talent that can 'hit the mark' without direction. Because the client has rejected six previous auditions, we'll need a custom audition if you'd like to be considered for this project.

Our team has been producing top-quality eLearning projects for decades. Our scripts are well formatted, our workflow is simple and invoices are consistently paid in 7-14 days. You'll enjoy working with us!

If you can put the perfect spin on the 100-word excerpt provided, you may land repeat work on a dozen or more courses for our client.

Script Details

Modern Private Investigation took root through the work of one man, whose own shady past helped him develop an understanding of the criminal mind.

**********************, born in 1775 in France, came from a troubled past, with frequent brushes with authorities, desertion from military service, and occasional incarceration in the local jails.
In 1811, the 36 year-old Vidocq had a change of heart. With his knowledge of the criminal world, and his controversial use of fellow criminals to aid his work, he offered to become an informant, and quickly became the first Chief of the ****************, a state security police force.
