Senior Care 2 ZDLTK494036349670X
Looking for a senior, midwestern male- not too polished. We need someone who sounds like a regular guy from the heartland. The content is very easy, a natural-sounding monologue, five or six sentences long. Can't stress enough- we do not want a polished newscaster voice for this particular project (even though we love and respect that particular skill set!), just a regular Joe with grandkids in the heartland.

Thought not mandatory, you're welcome to submit a recorded audition from the text:
Jacqueline and I like being active. This is the best way to exercise and socialize at the same time. 34 years in the factory at General Motors might have worn my hearing down a bit- I knew I couldn't always understand what people were saying. At first I was reluctant, and I didn't want my hearing aids much. I thought, "Well, I'm doing okay, I can hear well enough..." But Jacqueline and the kids convinced me it mattered to them, and now I'm wearing them more every day... She's right, I didn't know what I was missing.
