More women than men face vision problems...
In a 2014 Harris Poll, fewer than 1 in 10 women know they are at greater risk than men for permanent vision loss. AWARENESS is the key to educating women on steps they can take today to protect their vision for tomorrow.
Women have a higher prevalence of almost all age-related eye diseases:
• 65% of people with age-related macular degeneration are women. That’s more than 1.3 million
• Over 14,000,000 women are affected by cataracts, 11% more than men
• More than 1.6 million women have glaucoma
• 63 % of the 2.9 million vision impairment cases are women.
Women are also more likely to develop Dry Eye.
What can you do to protect your sight?
Get a dilated eye exam
Take Care of Yourself
Keep Healthy and Exercise

Expectant mothers should be aware of possible vision changes during pregnancy.
