Project Main Details
I need as many people as possible, however they do not have to be professional actors. Each person will be recording for about 10 to 15 minutes all in total, producing roughly 2 or 3 minutes of finished audio per person. I am looking for someone who has a studio and who is able to find a minimum of 10, maximum of 15 people to go in and record the script that I have attached. Assuming that each person records for 10 minutes and we have 15 people, that is two and a half hours. I can pay for 4 hours of studio time, at 50 dollars an hour which should cover setup as well as any necessary retakes etc. No editing will need to be performed on the files by the studio engineer; I will do all the editing and post production.
I can pay each participant $20 for the 10 minutes of recording. Thus, if we have 15 people recording I would be paying a total of $500 including the $200 for the studio.
The people should be young adults, say between 18 - 30. Naturally it doesn't matter if these ages are not exact, as long as the sound of the voice is good.
My prefered method of payment is PayPal.
When submitting a reply please indicate how many people you will be able to get into your studio, and how many are male and how many are female. 2012-04-05 16:53:30 GMT 2012-04-09 19:50:59 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Yes (click here to learn more about ) Closed - Note: This project was manually closed by the voice seeker before it reached its original deadline. 0 0 0 direct invitation(s) have been sent by the voice seeker resulting in 0 audition(s) and/or proposal(s) so far. At least three grunt sounds when the character falls over.
At least three effort sounds when the character gets back up.
A grunt sound when the character is picked up by their opponent, followed by at least 10 seconds of frantic struggling sounds as the character attempts to break free.
A scream as the character is thrown.
A grunt sound when the character gets out of the opponent's grip.
At least 7 effort sounds when the character swings their fist, their sword etc.
A few effort sounds as the character jumps up. These are short.
A few grunt sounds as the character lands on the ground again. These are also short.
Three different types of constant breathing. These are so the character can be identified in the audio environment.
1. General breathing, like if you're walking at a steady pace along a street.
2. Heavy, fast breathing (could be from rage or fear). This plays when the character is engaged in combat, or fleeing.
3. Breathing with pain, as the character is close to dying but still struggling to move.
A violent death scream as the character is being fried by electricity.
At least 5 general death screams. This could be from getting their head mangled, getting kicked to death, getting their neck broken, being stabbed to death by a knife, having an arm cut off, etc etc. The more violent the better.
An outdrawn scream as the character falls down a pit, from a high building, etc.
The following are comments made by the character (usually in battle), as different types of people in the game. Each actor should do all of these character types, and improvise. The example phrases are there for illustration purposes only and should not be reused by everyone.
At least 5 comments made by the character if they are a civilian getting attacked or watching a fight.
(Screaming) "My god, what's going on!"
"Get off me - I didn't do nothin'!"
(In fear) "Oh no please, don't hurt me!"
At least 5 comments made by the character if they are a police officer.
"Hands on your head - this is the police!"
At least 5 comments made by the character if they are a bad guy (usually in the middle of battle):
"Take that you bastard!"
"Son of a bitch!"
(In pain and anger) "You'll regret that!"
