Sake styles can be separated into two categories: Pure Rice Sake, called junmai, and Alcohol-added Sake, called honjozo, with varying degrees of quality within each one. The quality is determined by the amount of rice left after polishing. Remember, the less rice, the higher the quality. Here a list of the most common Sake classifications:
First, Honjōzō-shu. This Sake is made with distilled alcohol, and uses rice that has 70% of the grain remaining.
Second, Junmai-shu. This Sake is pure rice sake and uses rice that has 70% of the grain remaining.
Third, Ginjō-shu. Ginjō-shu is made with distilled alcohol and uses rice that has 60% of the grain remaining.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
