Project Main Details

SBOT Choose Well
This is a series of three messages that will be featured on a website covering the following topics: Separation of Powers, Jury Duty, and Judicial Elections. The spots do not endorse particular candidates or positions, rather they encourage participation in the process from the standpoint of being a good citizen.

We will use the same voice for all three spots. The character is in his late 20s / early 30s and is a Caucasian male. He is confident and smart, but in a cool way. And he's passionate about how important it is to get involved.

Each of the three pieces runs between two and three minutes. The budget is a little flexible, but we're looking at approximately $300 USD per piece pr $900 total for all three.

Unfortunately, the client is on a very tight deadline so I need to cast this by Friday morning -- today if possible -- and get the actual voice tracks from you by Friday afternoon. If the deadline is too tight for you, I understand, but please don't audition if you won't have time to meet it.

I'd like to be able to listen in to the session by phone to give direction. When we're done, just send the raw tracks. No editing necessary. .WAV or .AIF or .SD2 files via FTP is what I need.

Thanks in advance!

Script Details

I heard the other day that more Americans can name the Three Stooges than the three branches of government.

So I logged into YouTube for a quick refresher course on Larry, Moe, Curlly.

The Three Stooges haven't even been on TV for more than 15 years where I live. 15 years! That’s one-five. So, I'm thinking. . .

Does this mean that more people remember these three guys from a show that nobody's seen in more than a decade than remember how we run our country?

Yeah. Don't answer that.

Anyway, all of this got me thinking about how best to explain it to people. There's got to a better way than whoop whoop whoop and a smack to the back of the head to get people to remember.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
