You will receive the Air Complete in a box that contains a full and complete accessory kit. There is nothing else required to start making money today. Accessories included in the durable plastic accessory case:
* 2 bottles of Smoke producing fluid, enough to perform over 1000 tests
* Powerful Halogen Search light
* Automobile exhaust cone adapter.
* Truck cone adapter
*17 piece cap plug set
*Easy Evap filler neck connector Fits 100% of vehicles.
* Schrader valve removal tool and evap service port adapter
It takes less than 3 minutes to make your Air Complete fully operational. Use the provided allen wrench to remove the fluid fill plug and pour in the provided smoke producing fluid. It only takes two fluid ounces to fill the Air Complete to perform 100+ typical tests. Connect the power cables to a 12 volt battery. The circuit board has been designed with a momentary delay to provide a sparkles connection. When proper power has been provided the green power light illuminates, indicating the Air Complete is ready to work for you.
The Air complete is equipped with all the latest technology and industry standards that today’s technicians demand. The most revolutionary feature of Air Complete is the onboard micro compressor. This provides the technicians unlimited portability to test vehicles across the parking lot or across town. Air Complete is fully compatible with NITROGEN but it is not required. When nitrogen or inner gas is connected to the port in the rear of the machine, the onboard compressor automatically disabled. Furthermore, the flow of nitrogen is controlled by a solenoid which prevents nitrogen from leaking out when the machine is not in use. The air complete is the only smoke machine that provides a smoke cycle or air cycle with nitrogen or onboard air. The flow meter meets the most stringent standards to measure leaks of ten thousandths of an inch and less. The flow control valve allows you to regulate the amount of vapor to find large, small, or minuet leaks by pinpointing precisely to where the leak is. The compound pressure gauge allows technicians to perform a leak down or decay test to verify all leaks have been properly repaired which prevents comebacks. Air Complete has been made to give you the most flexibility and portability so that you can save time and make more money.
How to Find Leaks 3:00 Min -
Let’s cover the most common problems used to find leaks with the Air Complete.
Intake Leak- 1st Leak
Intake or Vacuum leaks are the most common and profitable leaks found in automobile.. First locate where you want to introduce smoke to the intake system. You have many options including intake ducting; vacuum leaks even the oil dipstick. With this test you will be able to locate leaks that you thought you didn’t have. Now you can show your customer instead of telling your customer. A Great choice is to go through the intake ducting. Disconnect the intake duct from the air cleaner, plug this tube with the provided exhaust code adapter and introduce smoke into the small hose to begin testing. You must seal off the air intake so that the smoke doesn’t escape through the open intake path. This can be accomplished with the provided cap plugs or even latex gloves.
EVAP leaks – 2nd Leak
Some of the most common trouble codes confronting technicians today are related to a leaking condition in the EVAP, or Fuel Vapor Recovery System. It is easy to locate these troublesome EVAP leaks with the Air Complete. Another way is to go through the EVAP service port, which usually has a green cap. Using the tool provided, remove the Schrader valve which has left hand threads and must be turned clockwise to remove. The best way is to use Easy EVAP or the cap less gas cap adaptor if it does not have as gas cap. Best way to test the evap system by going through the filler neck of the gas tank. We are now ready to begin testing the EVAP system. If the vehicle is equipped with a vent solenoid that is normally open, it is necessary to close this solenoid using your scan tool before pressurizing the EVAP system.
Remove fuel cap. For cap less filler necks, insert cap less adapter into neck to access system before installing connector. Remove white liner from a sealing disk and apply disk to connector face. Remove red liner from sealing disk. Center the connector on the filler neck. Perform tests as needed.
Wind and Water Leaks- 3rd Leak
With the Air Complete Win and Water leaks around windows and doors are easy to find. This test is performed using smoke from the outside of the car. Roll up the windows and turn the fresh air fan motor to the max setting to create a positive pressure inside the cabin. Make sure this is not set to re-circulate. From outside the car, simply smoke the area where a leak is suspected. Hold the smoke a few inches from the test area and search for the disturbance caused by the leak. Now mark the area and make the repair. This test must be conducted in still air.
Exhaust Leak - 4th Leak
There are multiple ways to find exhaust leaks. The easiest method is to use one of the exhaust cone adaptors provided. The Small adapter one is for automotive use, and the large adapter is for Trucks. In the case of dual exhaust you may purchase another cone or use a shop rag to plug up the pipe. Install the exhaust cone into the tail pipe and input smoke from Air Complete into the system.
