Hi there everybody,
I've been referred to voice123.com from my website designer, so hopefully this will garner some good voice talents to help me out.
Full project details are confidential, however I am able to disclose what the voice over requires. The project entails a video tour of a house, which video length wise lasts around 3-5 min. I do not require any sound effects or the such, as I will handle that on my side. The actual voice "speaking" time I need maybe around 1-3 min worth, and the script will simply be paragraphs read straight through. All the editing will also be handled on my behalf, so there is very little need for cutting audio clips.
The information being read involves talking about the house, when it was built, certain features, etc. Each part being read will be split up into separate scripts, for example, for one project you may receive scripts dealing with the bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen.
There are very little articulate details, so I am hoping that the recording will be a breeze.
The file can be sent to me through email or whatever medium (yousendit.com) and the format doesn't matter as long as it is editable by a standard audio editor, i.e. FLAC is fine.
After looking through the site, I feel like I'm crazy, but my proposed budget for this project is quite small but large, depending on the way that you look at it. I am looking to pay around 10 dollars USD per project completed (1 project will include bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, etc.). While in comparison this is an extremely low price to be asking for, this is residual and will only increase as the more projects I have. While others ask for a one time project to be done, mine is laid out so that I need you constantly, and I maybe give you around 10-100 projects a day. Also, this is ongoing, I do not intend to go out of business anytime soon, so as long as you're willing, I'll be using your services daily for the next few years to come. Should you accept, please understand that I will be sending you projects daily most likely, and each project has a deadline of 1 1/2 days from the day that I sent it to you.
Naturally, as English is the standard language, the talent that receives the award for the English language will have the largest workload.
However, I am also in need of other foreign language talents. Mainly Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese), Korean, Spanish, Arabic, German, and a few more. There have been separate projects created for these languages. The earning potentials for these languages will differ, but it is most likely that Chinese, Korean, and Spanish will have around the same volume of work as English.
I'm looking for a wide array of voice talents, so I'll most likely be hiring more than just one. It is imperative that if you sign on, to be prepared to do some large volumes of voice overs.
Otherwise feel free to ask questions.
P.S. For all foreign languages, depending on whether or not I have the resources available at the moment or not, may require you to translate the script. So generally said, you must be at least proficient / fluent in North American English, as it is vital not only in communicating with me, but to understand the script sometimes also. This means that some scripts will be translated, some will not.
