Qwiki News 
The voiceover will replace the current robotic narration on *********. Goal is to have a voice close to a TV anchor personality deliver the text which will be focused on top news stories of the day. Ideally, it'd be daily and we would have 3 voiceovers to do per day. To start with though, we just want to get some samples to see how well it works with our product.

In US News, CNN reports that the United States poverty rate rose to over 15 percent in 2010, the highest level since 1993. Amid a struggling economy and high unemployment, 46 million Americans are currently living below the poverty line. In other news, two American hikers jailed for over two years in Iran may be released this week after a $500,000 bail is paid for each person. In World News, The New York Times reports militants carried out an aggressive attack on the U.S. embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. At least six people were killed and 19 injured after heavily armed Taliban insurgents struck with suicide bombs and rocket-propelled grenades. In other news, North Korea is trying to expand its tourism industry as the secluded country begins to see how foreign visitors can help grow its weak economy. In Technology News, TechCrunch reports Ashton Kutcher said companies that ultimately make people happy will eventually be the most successful ones. Kutcher, who has invested in 40 different firms, spoke at this week’s TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco. In Business News, Bloomberg reports JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley warn that third quarter earning results may come in weaker than expected. The European debt crisis and a sluggish U.S. economy could lead to a slump in trading revenue for the investment banks. In Entertainment News, E Online reports the latest Forbes 100 List named Tyler Perry as the highest paid man in Hollywood. Perry made $130 million between May 2010 and May 2011, beating out big names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg and Jerry Bruckheimer. In other news, actress Michelle Williams opens up to Vogue Magazine about being single, her lack of privacy, and how she felt during Heath Ledger’s unexpected death.
