They’re aloof… fickle…. and sometimes emotionless creatures.
They come and go as they please, they don’t respond when you call their name, and they never want to pet you when you want to be petted…

You can’t train a human but you can—at the very least—take care of your human.

Humans—despite doing nothing all day—are stressed out, high strung, moody animals. Show them how to relax. Mmm. That’s the stuff.

Humans must be reminded of their imagination— they just keep buying more and more complicated boxes, when a simple one is enough— look at me. I’m an astronaut… now I’m in a submarine.

Humans spend way too much time on their lightboxes. It is a good idea to prevent them from over using their lightboxes, especially when they are unreasonably eager to do so.

Instead of walking on their front legs humans use them to flop about and clumsily push things around. Show them how stupid they look by doing the same thing.

Humans seem to gravitate to water bowls that are far too tiny for their heads to fit. Whenever possible we must try and extract the invisible nectar— and leave it in a place their fat heads can reach. They also like to collect useless pieces of paper which you should feel free to pint out to them by knocking it all over the floor.

Humans are hairless creatures— and must brave the elements in creative ways. During the day they wear portable blankets. When possible we must donate what hair we have to their day blankets… in addition to the fur that they seem to be collecting with the magic brush.

Humans enjoy petting as I’m sure you enjoy being petted from time to time. But if they do get a little to vigorous with the belly rubs bite the shit out of them—
or simply run away.

At night the human’s fragility is obvious, they shed their day blankets for one giant night blanket— which never seems to be big enough to cover their face. We must do our best to keep the exposed parts warm. Yes, their breath smells a bit like old milk— but some things you have to do for love.

Much like their seeming nonchalance around the dreaded vacuum cleaner—Humans seem unphased by the hidden dangers of the blanket— whatever they are they must be stamped out.

For some reason humans do not utilize their tongues for bathing and instead risk drowning on a daily basis to clean their bodies. If you sit in the bathtub enough one day they’ll get a clue.

They say “absence makes the heart grow fonder.” Hide from your human from time to time to show them how bleak their world would be without you. AND while the middle of the room is a perfect place to displace a hairball, so is under the couch.

Humans are large but stupid. When the red dot appears it is your duty to alert them to its presence so they can go and swat it from a high place.

Although technically this is not ‘taking care of your human...’ it is awesome and wicked fun. Just because they don’t have claws... don’t let them steal this joy.

Humans clumsily walk on their hind legs with their feet stuck in foot shaped boxes all day. Be helpful and try to untangle the strings which have trapped their feet.

Additionally you would do well to walk in between their legs once in a while so can practice feline grace.

Your human isn’t a deep thinker. Get him or her to shift their perspective. What would the world look like upside down—or—from up on high.

Humans seem to be unfamiliar with the universal law of feline dominion “whatever touches a cat belongs to last cat that touched it” mark your territory frequently with your scent until they recognize your authority.

Remember Humans are frail.
They stub their toes on everything, they hit their head on the the simplest things, and they can throw out their back just by lifting something heavy—and yet they'll keep getting the same old heavy, dusty, litter rocks. We cats just need something light and odor absorbing—"
