Project Main Details

Power Generation Training Voice Needed

We are a training services company and build custom e-learning lessons primarily in the power industry. This is for a specific project that we have going on in house. We are building a website that sales reps will learn about internal products. This site will help engineers bridge the gap from engineering to power plants and their products they sell.

There will be roughly 127 products. Each Product page will contain 2 read portions. Each read section is approximately 1/4 page. So 1/2 page for 127 pages and we arrive at ~ 62-63 pages.

If we can find the right person at the right price, there is more work as well. If this doesn't make sense or requires more clarification, please just contact me.

Thank you!

The term drive” describes a motor controller that uses AC voltage to supply controlled, adjustable energy to an AC motor.

An adjustable frequency drive can change the frequency of the voltage to the motor to vary the speed. These are often referred to as variable frequency drives (VFD).

The term “adjustable speed drive” is also used to describe a controller that varies the speed of a motor.

For our discussion in this lesson, we will simply use the term “drive.”

Variable voltage input (VVI), pulse width modulation (PWM), and current source input (CSI) are three types of control that are used in the inverter to control frequency.

The basic processes of all three are similar, as shown in the graphic here. The block diagram shows the three-phase voltage entering the rectifier block, where a DC voltage is created to be fed into the inverter.

The control circuits fire the transistors in the inverter to create an AC voltage to be supplied to the motor.
