Script Details

Looking for a conversational, empathetic, warm read.
Peter was just one year old when he was diagnosed with Pin-e-o-blastoma, a rare, cancerous brain tumor. Without immediate treatment, the fast growing brain cancer would continue to rapidly spread throughout his little body. His doctors referred him for treatment at ********, and within two days of arriving at the hospital, Peter underwent a six hour operation.

The surgeons were able to remove about ninety-five percent of the tumor, but the difficulty was coming up with a procedure to remove the rest of the mass without permanently damaging Peter’s brain.

The doctors at ******** developed a protocol for Peter, including chemotherapy and a new type of radiation treatment that precisely targets tumor cells, without damaging healthy brain tissue. Peter is so young and vulnerable and his tumor is so unusual, it’s tough to predict a successful outcome.

Peter and his family were able to go home for three weeks during a break in his treatment.

While he’s enjoying time at home with his family, the doctors at ******** continue to work on ways to keep him alive. He looks better now, but his type of cancer is one of the most dangerous as it still threatens his life.
