PSA Grandkids LTK14402433668X
I am producing a PSA for a national, non-profit organization that assists people with problems related to alcohol. This part is for a relatively young Grandmother whose daughter drinks too much. The Grandmother is energetic, well-spoken and in her mid to late 50's. Our goal is to make her sound like a "real person", frustrated by her situation. (The less you sound like a professional VO artist, the better). I am looking for someone with a home studio who can send the recordings via email or ftp. Unfortunately we're working on a shoestring budget, but it should be relatively easy and quick to record, it's for a good cause, and the spots will get national exposure. There is also the potential to work on a separate radio campaign. I welcome any demos. Thank you for your interest.

(Grandmother arrives at front door)
How are my favorite Grandkids! We’ve been looking forward to seeing you!
(She sees her daughter passed out on the couch)
What’s going on here? Are you drinking again? Why aren’t you taking care of your children!
It breaks my heart to see my grandkids grow up like this.
What did I do wrong? I feel like a failure as a mother. I feel trapped. I can’t abandon my own grandchildren, and my daughter won’t stop drinking!
A friend suggested I try *********************. I didn’t want to go because I felt uncomfortable talking with strangers, but I’m glad I finally tried a few meetings. I’ve really learned a lot from people who have been in the same situation. These meetings have given me hope.
