Project Main Details
This project is an industrial video for a non-profit professional engineering society and will highlight power engineering in Europe. We are looking for a professional, but warm, voice (male or female) with a smooth British accent to provide the narration for the video.
We have left the rate "to be defined" so you are free to submit the fee you think is fair. The details to help you determine your rate:
* The full script will be 3-4 pages long. You can assume a 12 point font and proper spacing.
* The project is not for broadcast.
* We are not a union signatory and therefore this is a non-union job.
* You will record the audio at your facility and we will direct the session via phone patch. Please make sure your fee is all-inclusive: talent, studio/engineer, delivery. Please make sure you have the capability for a phone patch.
* We only require that you deliver the raw audio in MP3, AIF, or WAV format. No post-production on your part is required.
We prefer that you submit a custom demo because the client will be selecting the final voice and it can be difficult for them to imagine how you would read their industrial copy based on a reel (especially if the reel is principally commercials). Please do not use watermarks, voice effects, sound effects, or music on your custom demo. This impairs our ability to evaluate your voice. We are a professional production company and do not steal voice samples for uncompensated use.

In Europe, engineers have provided both the power industry and its consumers with safe and reliable electric power using coal, gas, and oil as fuels.
But today, engineers are seeking new solutions to provide clean and reliable energy for the next generation.
There are many sides to the passionate energy debate. One thing for sure is that Europe is now center stage for technological as well as public policy innovation. Places like Freiburg Germany are testing the boundaries for renewable energy and energy conservation.
