Ovarian Cancer PSA ZD157392
This is a very important project. It's a PSA warning women about the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer. We're looking to interject some humor into a very serious subject. The VO will play the narrator of the video who is going through chemo treatments. We want someone to sound young, active & youthful but then deliver the drama where it's called for in the script. The first part of the video sets the stage and connects with the viewer and the second part shocks the viewer with the gravity that this person has ovarian cancer.

Meet Shags. (dog)
I thought she was a Collie mix, but a doggie-DNA test revealed she’s actually a German Shepherd-Pointer with a dash of Chihuahua.
And this is Jack. My Buzzbook.com quiz results say he’s exactly the two parts Superman, and three parts stockbroker I’m supposed to be dating.
But according to the “Figuring Out My Future” test, my humanitarian side could never co-exist with Jack’s jet-setting lifestyle.
My friends say I’m a little crazy when it comes to taking tests, but I say better safe than sorry, Because the one test I couldn’t take was the one that would have diagnosed my ovarian cancer before it was too late.
I thought a PAP smear covered it all, but it doesn’t. I also thought only old women got ovarian cancer, but I was wrong about that too. My only symptoms were bloating, abdominal pain, I was eating less and peeing more…typical women issues! How was I supposed to know!
Here’s the thing – only 19% of women are diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in its early stages. HALF of all women diagnosed die within five years, and yet we still don’t have a reliable screening tool to detect ovarian cancer early on. With your help we can change all of this.
With your help, we can move one step closer to making that test a reality. One step closer to finding treatments that will save thousands of lives each year. One step closer to Shags and me running off to the city we’re supposed to love, with the Prince we’re supposed to meet, to live the life we were meant to have.
