Ovarian Cancer Case Study Cheryl ZDLTK152059573448X
This is a case study for online learning. This case study is CHERYL, who is suffering from ovarian cancer. The case study is in 3 parts. It needs to be told as if you are telling a story to a friend in a cafe. This means less like a script and more like a story. The point of the case study is to walk in the shoes of the patient, so emotion is very important.
We will send a full script on appointment to the project.

My journey with ovarian cancer began a couple of years ago. I started noticing a lot of little things that just didn’t feel right. I felt like I had to use the bathroom more often, even when I had just gone. Sometimes I felt a little bit of discomfort on one side, kind of like the pains I used to have when I ovulated. I had gone through menopause a few years before, so I figured that all these little things were probably just more changes.
When I had my annual gynaecologic exam, I mentioned these concerns to my doctor, and he told me not to worry. He said my pelvic exam was normal and my pap smear was fine. My mammogram was good, too. So I didn’t give it much thought.
