I am going to show you a technique that is relatively simple and basically painless.
I’m going to start with Human chorionic gonadotropin.
When you open your box you’ll see 2 bottles. One has powder and one has liquid. What you’re going to do is take some of the liquid and put it in the powder.
To start with, the top of the bottle has a little metal piece that you have to pull off by putting your thumb nail under and pulling up. You’ll see in the center of the rubber there is a little bull’s eye and that’s there because the rubber is a little thinner and that’s where you will be inserting the needle. This one has the powder in it and this one has the liquid. I’ve already taken the metal top off that one.
It is important to understand sterile technique, which means wipe it before you do anything with it. That includes the top of the bottles. Wipe them with an alcohol soaked pad.
Now you’re going to inject some water into the powder. I’m going to use this syringe. It’s called a lure lock syringe, because it is interchangeable. The needle comes on and off with a twist, so you can change the size of the needle. It’s the same type of syringe that you will be using for Testosterone injection. In this case you are going to use it just to mix your HCG. The barrel of the syringe also has gradations on it, which lets you measure how much fluid is in it. The black stopper here has a little peak at the top.. You will be measuring from the top of that peak. The gradations are measured in CC’s and it’s important to know that a CC and an ML are the exact same thing.
It is important to make sure that the needle is twisted on securely before pulling the cap off the needle. It is also very important when handling injectables to stabilize yourself. Trying to do it up in the air can be difficult and you can poke your finger.
