Character #1: Narrator, FEMALE

That’s why we expanded our Hold at FedEx Location service to include options for FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery at more than 1,800 FedEx Office locations nationwide.
How does it work?
Well, assume you need something ASAP. You could ship it via FedEx Express, choose our Hold at FedEx Location option, and possibly pick up the package before the regular scheduled delivery time.
When you can trade time for savings, we suggest FedEx Ground — now with a Hold at FedEx Location option. When you’re initiating a shipment, just pick a convenient FedEx Office location, and we’ll give you a call when the package arrives so you can pick it up on the way to work, home — or any other stop on your list.
Plus, you can redirect FedEx business and residential shipments that are already in transit to a FedEx Office location.

Day in and day out, I schedule shipments from our winery to customers across the country. Those customers are required by law to sign for wine deliveries, and unfortunately, they’re not always available to accept them. FedEx is helping us solve that problem.
With Hold at FedEx Location, instead of shipping to a customer’s home, we can ship to a FedEx Office near them. The locator tool at fedex.com finds and recommends locations within the customer’s ZIP code. It’s simple.
A customer can also redirect a shipment once it’s on its way. The FedEx team signs for the wine shipment and notifies the customer that it’s available
Customers love it. It’s convenient, safe and secure. We love it too, because there’s no extra charge for the service. And happy customers are loyal customers.

Last week, I knew FedEx was going to deliver a package. But the day it came, the soccer game ran long. When I got home, I found a FedEx Home Delivery door tag. Because I knew that I would most likely miss the delivery the next day as well, I went to fedex.com, entered my door tag number, and had the package redirected to my local FedEx Office around the corner. They’re open 24 hours a day, so I can stop by anytime to pick up my packages. They even notify me when it’s available. And I know it’s safe and secure, because they require a photo ID to pick up packages. It’s a great service – offered at no extra charge. Just seems like FedEx understands my life doesn’t stop when I’m expecting a package.

You could say my job is a bit hectic. I love it. But honestly, without FedEx, it would be a lot harder to get the job done. When an ATM in my territory goes down, I’m the one who fixes it. Most of the time, I need a part — fast. With FedEx Express, I have the flexibility to reroute a part to a nearby FedEx Office, and pick it up even earlier than the regular scheduled commitment time. With our contract and service level commitments, that’s important.
My schedule’s always changing. So when I’m expecting a FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery of replacement parts, and suddenly I realize I won’t be there to sign for it, I’m glad FedEx Office will. It’s easy; I just go to fedex.com or call 1.800.GoFedEx, provide my tracking number, and request Hold at FedEx Location. I can pick up my package the next business day. It’s very convenient. And there’s no extra charge. I guess you could say FedEx is trying to be as flexible as I am — and that’s key in a job like mine.
