was described by Christopher Columbus as “a beautiful island paradise with high forested mountains and large river valleys.”
Her beauty still enthralls all who see her.

the likes of which you can only find in the Caribbean,
attract hundreds of thousands of tourists annually to this tropical paradise on the island of Hispaniola.
The best beaches are to be found in the southeast region, in an area known as Punta Cana.
The Punta Cana International Airport serves as the gateway for travelers to a land where royal and coconut palm trees stretch out towards the sun,
mangroves give shelter for diverse wildlife
and the beaches extend long and untouched along the coast.
Punta Cana’s Macao Beach is one of particular acclaim.
