Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry reach an agreement.

Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry last night struck a shocking peace deal to “move forward” from the dramatic Thanksgiving Day brawl between the model and Berry’s fiancé, Olivier Martinez.

Tensions have remained high since Calvin Klein model Aubry suffered two black eyes in the showdown with French actor Martinez as he dropped his and Berry’s daughter, Nahla, at her Beverly Hills home.

In a remarkable turn of events, Berry lawyer Blair Berk and Gabriel attorney Shawn Holley emerged from a closed-door hearing and declared peace in a handwritten statement: “The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter.”

US calls North Korea long-range rocket launch, "highly provocative"

North Korea announced Saturday that it would attempt to launch a long-range rocket in mid-December, a defiant move just eight months after a failed April bid was widely condemned as a violation of a United Nations ban against developing its nuclear and missile programs.

Following North Korea's announcement, the U.S. State Department echoed a similar statement it made in April,
"A North Korean 'satellite' launch would be a highly provocative act that threatens peace and security in the region," Victoria Nuland, a State Department spokesman said in a statement.

The launch, set for Dec. 10 to 22, is likely to heighten already strained tensions with Washington and Seoul as the United States prepares for Barack Obama's second term as U.S. president and South Korea holds its own presidential election on Dec. 19.

Michael Jordan reportedly declines to change shorts at Miami golf club.

Former NBA legend Michael Jordan reportedly declined to change out of cargo shorts while playing golf recently at a Miami Beach country club, earning him persona non grata status for his next round.

Jordan told ESPN Chicago he had been at the club several times previously and had not been informed of the policy.

"Then all of a sudden they come to me on the 11th hole and say I can't wear cargo shorts,” Jordan told ESPN Chicago by text. “Wow! The round is almost over and you want me to buy shorts now? Yeah, right!!"

Jordan reportedly continued his round after declining to change, but a source told the New York Post that the Hall of Famer and Charlotte Bobcats owned would not be invited back to La Gorce Country Club.
"No problem!!" Jordan replied.
