SCRIPT W/O VISUAL DESCRIPTIONS
Attention Providers. Today, we’re going to take a look at your network. Ahh, there it is. Except we know it isn’t just one big mass. It’s a bunch of components working together. There’s network engineering They make sure network capacity is available where and when it’s needed. There’s network operations. They provision and assure the network.
And lots of information in between. Looks okay. But what happens when new demands are put on your network? That’s when the network needs to evolve into a new shape.
And that’s when things get… weird.
Because nothing’s integrated. This piece doesn’t know how to talk to this piece.
Things get moved around, things get moved back. But none of it’s very efficient. That’s because you’re dealing with stuff like bad data, manual processes and limited information. In the end, you’re left with a bit of a mess. And when you introduce customer experience management into the mix…it doesn’t go well.
Now let’s look at a different approach. One that uses an integrated inventory to coordinate planning, engineering and operations. Everything’s designed to work together, using common terminology across all network elements. Now when a need arises your network’s evolution is a lot more… rational. You’ll be able to create something efficient. Something workable. Something tough. The results? Cap ex and Op ex both go down. Revenue and ARPU both go up. And how does all of that make you feel? Exactly. That’s the power of an integrated inventory. It’s not just great for your business. It’s the shape of things to come. Whatever that shape might be.
