– NSOF Operator - “We have an incoming request for mesoscale targeting. It been verified as originating from an authorized user.”
– NSOF Supervisor “Alright, start working the request.” “We have approval to shift to Mode 4. Go ahead and generate the procedure using the given coordinates.”
– NSOF Operator – “We’re generating Mode 4 products now. Everything looks good, all indicators are in the green.” “Wait, hold on a minute.” “We had a failure in one of the PG cores. Failover was automatic and there was no degradation in performance. A trouble ticket has been generated automatically.”
– National Weather Office Forecaster – “OK great , we’re receiving the GOES imagery. That doesn’t look good.”
– Female News Reporter – “This is Sally Jergens, with Local 6 News. Although the storms devastated this community, no lives were lost. The residents credited early warnings from the National Weather Service, and the sirens giving people enough time to get to shelter. I spoke with a NWS representative a little earlier...
