Project Main Details
The course is currently authored and voiced in English and 3 other Asian languages. The text has been fully translated and reviewed in German. Providers are not required to do any translation or preparation.
Work will start in early January and should be completed in approx. 2 weeks.
We will hire 2 voice artists to record audio commentaries that will be integrated into the localized eLearning site. Each voice artist will have a total of about 7500 words of narration to speak.
Narration scripts will be provided to the voice artist in Word documents. The artist will be asked to read and voice narration/commentaries that range from two sentences to 5 or 6 paragraphs in length. Each segment must be returned as a separate audio file that follows a naming convention that we will specify. We can receive most common types of audio format (.wav, mp3, etc.).
The voice style should be appropriate to explain material to a mature, working, business professional. It should indicate respect for the listener and treat the material maturely and professionally.
The voice speech does NOT need to be synchronized with any other materials. We will synchronize the eLearning animation to the delivered voice narration. Just speak fluidly and naturally, consistent with giving a good explanation to a knowledgeable listener.
If required, the artist can make minor edits to the translated scripts to improve speakability. However, they must edit the Word source document to reflect their changes and return the Word documents with the exact "as-spoken" script.
As a guideline, when this course was voiced in English, two voice artists completed the work in about 36 hours of combined effort (approx 18 hours each).
In your response, please submit one or two sample voice files and answer the following questions:
1. How/why do you think your voice and style will appeal to a working sales professional employed in a German company in Germany?
2. What audio recording equipment and arrangement do you use? Was the voice sample you submitted recorded in the setup that you will use for this work? If not, what will you do to ensure that audio quality is clear and fairly neutral.
Note, when we receive your audition files, we will share them with our clients for their opinion and choice. 2014-12-22 20:12:21 GMT 2015-01-01 15:00:00 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Yes (click here to learn more about ) Closed 15 15 0 direct invitation(s) have been sent by the voice seeker resulting in 0 audition(s) and/or proposal(s) so far.
