It's a satire designed to show the pitfalls of trying to name a product yourself. Characters should be humorous, "over the top" and have a larger than life quality.
Boss is a buffoon, blowhard type.
Jacques is a French suckup
Loomis is nerdy,
Mary is a spacey marketing director, etc.

Feel free to audition for more than one character if you wish.

BREWSTER: Chief IP Attorney:
Have we checked trademark status boss?

LARRY
Who Cares? . I love the name.

JAQUES: French Accent (anxiously trying to get Boss’s attention:
But Boss…

LARRY:
Yes Jacques What is it?

JAQUES - French Accent (ALARMED)
You want to call it what!!

LARRY
eTRON , eTRON I said! with a (high voice) little bitty “e”

JAQUES:
But Boss, Etron means “Poo Poo” in French!

LARRY sheepishly-
(Pause) It does? You mean “Ka Ka?”

I am afraid so Boss.
