Project Main Details
We are looking for a character voice for our cartoon BOX TURTLE, Quincy Carapace. Quincy Carapace is a food critic and one of three judges in our spoof of the popular TV show “Iron Chef.”
We have attached a reference image of our cartoon character for your reference. This character is a somewhat snooty looking, elderly fastidious turtle. We will complement the character’s voice with shots of the turtle raising his eyebrow at camera to accentuate his personality. Script Details
Unlike the Iron Chef TV Show, Quincy Carapace is judging different types of soil. He delivers his lines at the end of the show as the chefs are presenting the soils to the judges. He is really excited about the Spodosol.
NB about pronunciation: Spa- di-sol.
Chef: C’est magnifique, n’est ce pas?
Quincy Carapace, totally impressed: Yes it is!
Quincy inspecting the soil: This Spodosol is the best I’ve seen! Excellent for burrowing. When you get to be may age, you tire of digging in clayey soil. La Terre’s got my vote!
