Script Details

The full script is attached. Read a portion for auditions, feel free to rework certain words if it helps you create your character.
You want me to talk about myself? Well, I guess I would say I’m just your average guy. I like normal guy things, nothing too fancy. I like to watch sports at the local pub with my buddies
My number one goal in life is to make sure my family is taken care of. I want to have a good job so I can provide for them, but I don’t need to make a million dollars. I want to be around to coach my son’s soccer team, so I can’t make my job my life. It’s important my kids have a male role model in their lives
My buddies are hilarious. Last weekend I helped one of them replace the radiator in his old car, we got about halfway through and had to stop. We had a few too many and kept dropping the bolts.
My grandfather was a carpenter. I have his old tool chest and still use em. There’s no reasons to buy new ones if the ones you have work just fine. Tools are tools, just because it has a fancy new grip doesn’t mean it works better than any of the other ones.
The only tools my grandfather didn’t have were power tools, so I had to go out and buy those. There were about 60 different saws to choose from, so I did my research to make sure I got the right one for me. I didn’t care how much it cost, because I know I’ll have it forever.
