G man:
If you want to bring down the mob then you have to understand their slang.

Sure, they try to fool us… saying things on the phone like, “It’s gonna be a White Christmas” when they’re talking about a shipment of cocaine.

They call heroin “Barbaria” … and bags of marijuana “Green Sweaters.”

When they introduce a new associate to the group, they call him “a friend of mine” to let everyone know he’s OK.

When they introduce a Made Man … then they say he’s “a friend of ours.”

“Lunatic soup” is cheap wine peddled on skid row…

… “Meat eaters” are law enforcement agents who take bribes…

…and “the can” or “the joint” is jail.

Maybe talking that way helps these mob guys not face the reality of what they’re doing.

After all, it’s a lot easier saying, “I took him on a one way ride” … or “I did a piece of work” … than saying, “I murdered him.”
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
