Project Main Details

Military Online Course in Spanish
We are a non-profit that provides continuing education online courses for healthcare professionals. That being said, there may also be medical terminology in this course. One of our clients has asked that we provide a Spanish option for one of our military courses.

For this, we'll need not only a Spanish narrator but also a typed transcript in Spanish. Do you also provide transcription services? If not, we may still be able to use you for the narration piece and contract out the transcription.Sincerely,

Script Details

***Sample script provided for auditions.
"Welcome to *************************************** Many of us know someone who has been personally involved in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in Afghanistan or Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in Iraq. These have now been going on longer than World War II. This war is being fought by a volunteer force who, because of its limited size, is serving multiple deployments. Multiple deployments mean more combat exposure and greater potential for physical and psychological trauma. Even though – for the first time in American history – ninety percent of wounded warriors are surviving their injuries, evidence suggests that a greater percentage of men and women are coming home with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI). We expect most of these “invisible wounds” to heal and many of them to heal without professional intervention. However, recent evidence suggests that war fighters and their families may need more help than expected."
